Prayer For Marriage Problems

In just a moment I am going to pray for all those who will watch this video and agree with you for the restoration of your marriage in Jesus name. And then I am going to ask you to do something as an act of faith that will change everything.

Prayer for Marriage Problems

Father, I give you honor, glory and praise. I come before you now in the name and by the authority of Jesus with my friend who is watching this video online. We are asking you for a miracle of marriage restoration. We know that divorce is never your plan and that you have the power to make all things new again. Lord God, we pray for strength, faith and love to overflow in our lives allowing us, with your help, to restore the love and life to my marriage.

We believe you are going to do what you have promised in your Word, You have promised that when we pray according to your will with faith that you will hear from heaven and that it will be done. In Malachi 2:16 your Word says that you hate divorce and therefore we know that divorce is never your will. We also trust that you would not want your people to live in loveless or abusive marriages and so we ask that you restore this broken marriage and change the heart of my spouse.

Restore the love they once knew in Jesus name. We declare that Satan as no power over this marriage in Jesus name. Thank you Father. May you receive all glory and praise. In Jesus name. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer with me it is now critical that you act in faith trusting God to move on your behalf.  Ask God to show you and guide you.  Here are some ideas.

Maybe you could write your spouse a hand written letter. Pour your heart to them. Be transparent and vulerable. Don't say anything about what they have done or make accusations or anything. Just share your heart. Don't ask anything of them. Don't beg them to come back. Just share your heart and love. Talk about some memories that are special to you. After you have written the letter, pray over it for a few days, laying your hands on the letter and ask God to bless it. Even better yet, fast while you pray over it for day from sunrise to sunset.

If you are still living together, start loving your spouse in real ways without asking anything in return. Do small acts of loving kindness in ways that make their life easier. Bring home dinner from their favorite restaurant. Do the household chores they normally do but don't say anything. If they ask, just say  you thought might like a break today. They may become angry and accuse you have trying to manipulate them or something. Don't argue. Just keep loving them asking nothing in return. Remember true love isn't about words. True love does. It acts. As you do these loving acts of kindness, pray that God would bless them for the restoration of your marriage.
